Gevo has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from heavyweights Virgin Fuels and Khosla Ventures. Gevo is a bio-fuel company focused on the development of a replacement for gasoline and jet-fuel. Branson formed Virgin Fuels to fund such start-ups and Khosla Ventures has make investments in several bio-fuel companies.
