A water park may not be your idea of a vacation, eco or otherwise, but AquaCity in Slovakia is proving that green technologies can be applied to any business. The park offers just about every water activity you can think of, as well as cafes, lodging, and everything else for a single location vacation.

A UV water purification allows them to use just 10% of the chlorine used by a conventional water park. Visitors also enjoy water that is geothermally heated, saving massive amounts of carbon emissions from entering the atmosphere.
