Michael Arrington Rails Against “Don’t Print this Email” Signature

The email signature encouraging readers not to print email has been around for months and really gained steam after a post on Treehugger. However, the impact of such a message is negligible and can even be seen as annoying by some recipients of your email, especially in the case of a business relationship.

As Arrington (TechCrunch fame) points out, who prints email anyway? I would venture to guess that much more paper is wasted by people needlessly printing out web pages and documents that can easily be read on their computer.
