Pasadena EcoHouse: First Cement LEED Certified Home in the U.S.
Designed by Studio-RMA, the Pasadena EcoHouse is the first home made from Structural Concrete Insulated Panels (SCIP) to achieve LEED Platinum certification. The use of SCIP panels provides the builders the best of both worlds, the ability to prefabricate portions of the home and include custom design elements.
In addition to SCIP panels, the home will make use of solar, energy-efficient systems, and other green building materials.
