MacBook Air Steve Sleeve from Timbuk2

Sunday, April 13th, 2008

You just dropped a mortgage payment on the ultra-sleek MacBook Air and now all of a sudden that old laptop bag isn’t looking so hot. If you don’t need to carry much on your commute, the new Steve Sleeve from Timbuk2 is a great choice.

Made to look like a manila envelope, the Steeve Sleeve is super thin and is made using non-toxic glue and recycled soda bottles.

Pangaya Winding Down Operations

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

It is with great regret that I announce that Pangaya will be winding down operations. We first developed the notion of a high-end online retailer of environmentally-friendly women’s clothing in late 2003 and launched our online store in the summer of 2004. Since that time we have realized incredible growth, seen the industry mature in a way we never imagined, and had an incredible ride.

However, as with all businesses, the time and capital invested must provide a meaningful return for the effort to be justified. At this time, it simply no longer meets that most basic criteria.

We will continue operating as you have come to expect and will continue to do so until our inventory is depleted. For you, this means savings of up to 80% on your favorite brands. We will also continue to post to the blog.

Your readership and business has been most appreciated and please feel free to post comments or send us an email to corporate@pangaya.com. We promise to read each and every one.

Regards,

-Sean

Luna Bar Bags from Ecoist

Friday, May 26th, 2006

Luna Bar Small ClutchRiding the success of their unique approach to handbag design and construction, Ecoist is offering a limited run of Luna Bar bags. These bags come in the same great styles as you’ve seen from their confetti, bar code, and silver lines, but now sport the familiar Luna Bar wrapper.

Ecoist bags are made using misprinted wrappers, giving them a second life and keeping waste out of landfills.
